Paul Gallagher – Senior Consultant

Paul is a business news and media message specialist, having worked across Europe as a reporter and editor for over a decade at several leading news agencies. Before joining ECD Insight, Paul was a senior business editor at Reuters in London, responsible for equities, fixed income, foreign exchange and energy news delivered to media clients.

Earlier in his career Paul was based in Frankfurt covering the automobile industry and other business for Reuters, and before that reported on financial and economic news for Bloomberg. He has also been based in Amsterdam for Reuters covering international politics as well as extensive assignments in the U.S., France, Switzerland and Belgium, among others. Paul began his career as a reporter and features writer, first with The Sunday Tribune and then The Irish Times, both in Dublin.

He has a B.A. in History and Politics from University College Dublin and an M.A. in Journalism from Dublin City University. Paul speaks fluent German and is conversational in French and Dutch.
