Julian is a strategic communications consultant with extensive experience in financial writing, editing, research management and coaching. He worked in journalism and investment banking for 14 years and has been providing advisory and editorial services since 2003.

During his career, Julian has guided and trained more than 250 writing analysts and reporters of around 20 nationalities through editing, co-writing, one-to-one coaching and peer review. He has also run production and global distribution programmes of 1,000-plus research reports per year, established policy for equity research and served on a group investment committee.

He began his career as a staff writer and head of research for Euromoney. Julian holds an MA (Hons) in Politics, Philosophy & Economics from Oxford University and undertook further research at the University of Cambridge.
