Jean Lavin leads ECD Insight’s New York practice and is an expert in offering communications advice and coaching to financial services firms.
Since joining the firm in 2004 Jean has worked extensively preparing senior executives on media training, presentations and pitches.
Jean built up strong expertise in business news and communications during a 12-year career at Thomson Financial. She spent six years as a senior journalist at International Financing Review (IFR) and was previously a top salesperson at Thomson’s Technical Data.
Prior to IFR, Jean was a sales and marketing executive at Primark Decision Economics (PDE), led by noted economist Allen Sinai.
Jean started her career in equity sales and trading at Brault, Stafford & Co. in New York. She graduated from the State University of New York in New Paltz, NY, where she majored in communications and English. |
