Developing communicative leaders and high-performance teams
The first personality profile designed specifically for leaders in more than 20 years, the LCP increases effectiveness by promoting greater balance and flexibility.
Building on the most effective elements of earlier tools, the LCP uses straight-forward language and easy-to-apply advice, reflecting the realities of the contemporary workplace.
The LCP’s key advantages over other profiles:
Provides an achievable, practical leadership model ..............................................................................................................................................................................
Low-jargon language, immediately applicable to the workplace
..............................................................................................................................................................................
Differentiates behaviour under optimal and high-stress situations

Workshops and coaching sessions using the LCP
• Increase leaders’ ability to influence, persuade and inspire
• Enable teams to understand each other better and work smarter
• Improve sales pitches and other high-stakes communication
• Help managers adapt to organisational change
• Deepen focus and insight in one-to-one leadership coaching
Leadership-focused, development-driven
The LCP is a dynamic model of personality that takes account of how different situations and levels of stress affect our behaviour. It highlights the importance of Balanced Leadership, as represented by four groupings of characteristics: Activator, Affiliator, Analyser and Conceptualiser.
Many leaders begin their careers emphasising one or two of these quadrants, usually to the detriment of the other two or three.
Having answered a questionnaire (taking about 20 minutes), the respondent receives a report based on their scores for each quadrant. The report contrasts their profile in optimal conditions with their scores when highly stressed.
Unlike most personality profiles, the LCP is equally valuable in helping leaders understand other people - and adjust their approach accordingly - as it is to understand themselves. It is as much a tool for “outrospection” as introspection.
Multi-functional, highly practical
The LCP is a stand-alone tool but is often included in ECD Insight’s leadership communication programmes:
• The 360-degree Leadership Feedback Survey
• Team development events (mid-size groups)
• Team trust and communication workshops (larger groups)
• One-to-one coaching
• Message development consulting
• Pitching and presenting under pressure
